Learn to read?

I have no idea where to start…erm but I knew that some kids can read at really young age.

My kids? Hmm I am pretty sure that they can memorize (which is not reading, but hapal…).

Sometimes I feel bad, because seems that the activity that I do with my kids is more on play (lempang diri sdiri, main pun belajar jugak..hand eye coordination, kenal warna, mengira and so on).

Then while gathering information, the more I read I just feel a little bit stressed…haha sbb baca2 skrg org guna phonic, which abc is not sound like we used to learn. Plus 4 tahun baru nk ajar baca (even past few months, my father asked whether Afham can read or not since part bercakap Afham mmg x de masalah)..Adui rasa cam terlambat kah? (sabar2..better late than never)

I bought a series of this book, just show few pages to Afham and he seems not really interested…(ok mak tak tipu, rasa cam OMG cmne ni nk ajar anak baca…chill, chill, chill anak baru 4 tahun come on la Zuraihan, ke sbb tunjuk buku tu lama sgt?). The series came with VCD, which I just watched it (hmm..still rasa apekah mampu nk ajar anak baca ni).

Oh ya, we already send Afham to kindy. I saw one of his reading book, but I think he progress on average kot (kot sbb xtau nk compare ngan sape…plus its almost 3 months and still just few page..alahai. Tried to asked him to read at home, but he more interested to read other books at home (ok bkn dia baca, ibu yg kena baca….which I found he can memorize some book yg dh ulang2 baca). But since he is at Islamic kindy, he progress well like Al-Fatihah, 3 Kul, and reading in solat (ayat nk bg sedapkan hati..hmm)

Before start reading, of course we need to check our kids know ABC…erm Afham can sing ABC but ada huruf akan hilang, part menulis ok je la kalau ikut buku titik2, part recognize not really 100%.

But he loves books…I mean he can asked me to read books (usually I let him to choose, kadang balik2 keje dh request nk baca buku). I realised he loves picture books (tapi buku phonics beli tu ada gambar2 tapi apesal dia cm kureng?)

While google some technique, I found Nadia shares here (http://mommynadia.blogspot.com/search/label/Learn%20to%20Read ) some techniques which I think I should try it. I just trying some activities on starfall.com and I believe that my kids will enjoy it..Yup ibu try dulu sblm bagi anak2 try.

Then another link that I found as useful guide shared here (http://amomsjourney81.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/helping-young-children-to-read-the-four-4-components/) , which she use a combination since each technique have pros and cons.

So perhaps for time being I should buy few reading books and flash card (lagipun buku kat rumah dok ulang2 baca yg sama, Cuma baru tambah 1-2 buku baru je)

First of all, I do have instagram account, but never bother updating, following, and stalking…until I upgrade my phone to data plan

Then out of sudden I remembered that I have IG account…start la scroll2 and following celebrities, blogger, IG shop (perhaps another entry on IG shop)

Last 2 days, I asked husband the theme colour for this year raya…and he answered xxxxxxxx.

But before asking him the question, some pictures on IG catches my attention (not to mention of jaw dropping, telan air liur pun ada sbb rega boleh tahan, tapi klu setahun sekali beli baju mahal tu raya bolehla kot..nk jahit sdiri xreti, sedara2 yg reti jahit pun cm xde) . So maybebeli baju siap jelah..sbb malas nk beli kain tempah (walaupun tempah lagi best sbb custom made)

Sumpah rasa cam sume design comel2, kaler comel2, model pun comel2, pstu boleh wt rasa ala2 cam princess (tp klu I pakai comel ke?…lemak kat perut dh bertambah..huhu)

Eh yang xde instagram, jgn susah hati..blh tgk kat facebook dan lagi satu sume ada website masing2

Personal income tax and e-BE

Disclaimer : Based on personal knowledge and experience

I might not the expert in this area, but I started my work in one of tax firm which cover personal income tax.

 Here is the basic of preparing income tax and e-BE..kira cara2 nk buat tax computation dan isi tax form (tapi ni dr not so profesional person dan not complete step by step..based on personal experience yg ciput dan knowledge...kalau korg lg terror xpayah la kot baca)

Those that do not have any source of business income, you must submitted your BE form by 30/4. 

Those that have business income you must submitted your B form by 30/6 (kalau keje full time and at the same time ada business income, maka submit borang B ye)

I believe most of you will straight away compile all the supporting (EA Form, receipts, statements, etc) and then key in all the information online. Perhaps right after that will submit it…*Dang, right after you submit you just remembered that you forgot to claim for additional deduction..cth patut elok2 2013 BE boleh claim 4 anak, tapi claim 3 org je sbbnya lupa anak bongsu lahir 30/12/13*

To avoid this happened; you can prepare the draft of tax computation complete with all supporting (ini optional ye, tapi sgt2 digalakkan)

Cth je ye with example total employment income RM70k, separate assessment, claim for 1 child, saving for child in SSPN and took personal and child insurance. Pay for zakat fitrah, pendapatan dan simpanan

Employment income tu amikle dr EA Form, kalau taun tu dok asik tukar 2-3 tempat keje, maka make sure dapatkan EA dr 2-3 employer tu.

KWSP pun dr EA Form (tapi KWSP combine ngan life insurance).

STD/ PCB tu pun dr EA Form.

Appendix is a summary in a proper way (cth mcm beli buku..resit banyak2 tu dh compile elok2 kan…so bila ada appendix tu nmpakla lagi proper)

Lepas dh prepare draft tu, even x complete 100 peratus bolehla transfer the amount kat e-BE *at least draft tu membantu part total reliefs..takut2 terlupa*

Kalau yg dh kahwin dan both suami isteri bekerja , strongly recommended for separate assessment (reason boleh je google..). kalau wife xkeje, suami keje combine assessment

Erm deduction ni almost every year ada je perubahan dr segi amaun yg boleh tolak dan juga ada kalanya penambahan perbelanjaan yg boleh claim (cth ada tahun broadband boleh claim max RM500) so benda2 ni aka nada perubahan…so bila dh xboleh claim maka kat form BE x appear la

List of some deduction untuk taun 2013 (ni yg biasa2 claim la…sila check form for full list)
1. Self RM9k

2. Purchase of book/ mag etc for self, huband/ wife and children Max RM1k
kalau taun tu beli buku RM50, claim 50 je..kalau beli buku RM1,500 paling banyak pun boleh claim RM1k je

3. Komputer Max RM3k (tapi dibenarkan sekali setiap 3 tahun) bukan tiap2 taun ye…so nk beli computer pun kena plan jugak

4. SSPN Max RM6k….ha bayar PTPTN xde income tax deduction….Cuma hutang dunia setel x dibawa akhirat :)

5. Anak bawah 18tahun RM1k/ seorang
tapi cth anak 5, suami claim 4 org, isteri boleh claim untuk seorang je..so kalau husband dh claim tuk 5 anak maka isteri xboleh claim apa2

6. Insurans nyawa dan KWSP Max RM6k
Premium insurans yang dibayar atas polisi yang menjamin nyawa individu, suami / isteri dibenarkan pelepasan cukai. Premium insurans atas nyawa anak tidak dibenarkan pelepasan.

7. Insurans pendidikan dan perubatan Max RM3k.
Ini bagi premium insurans yang dibayar atas polisi pendidikan atau faedah perubatan untuk individu, suami, isteri atau anak.

 Untuk 2013 ada special deduction RM2k if aggregate income not more than RM96k.

Yang tak sure no majikan tu refer la form EA

No Majikan no amik kat form EA..kalau taun tu tukar 2-3 keje amikla yg latest one..

Once completed you can submit it, but in case you want to double check you can print the draft of BE *step cm kat bawah*

Kalau nk print draft "Cetak Draf e-BE" (red circle)
Kalau nk submit click "Tandatangan & Hantar" (green circle)

Lepas dh cross check sume2 dan dh yakin, bolehla submit online…lps submit jgn lupa save pdf dan print hardcopy ye..sbb “Records and documents used in the tax computation must be retained for 7 years for reference and examination by LHDNM*

Untuk kes refund, Insya Allah refund dapat tahun ni jugak…kalau ikutkan zaman dolu2 refund ni ada yg kdg2 makan masa bertaun2, tapi sekarang dh pantas…hantar harini, maybe dalam sebulan dua dh dapat refund (rasa bergantung jugak kalau hantar awal2 bulan 3 cepatla korg dpt refund)

Untk kes yg kena bayar, buatlah payment sblm 30/4…bayar online je…again simpanla bukti pembayaran

Nothing special on this date…but I just realised that it has been 3 weeks since my last entry. (itu pun sbb reply email related to blog)

Been busy with job, and of course in between selit2 gak kena order kek tuk Afham…I still couldn’t believe he will be 4 y.o. this Friday (mcm cepat je, rasa mcm baru je. 2-3 hari lepas dia sibuk baca Fatihah, mlm td sblm tdo siap cakap..ibu nak tido kena baca doa…tp dia baca Fatihah, ingat doa tdo)

Next week pulak anniversary ke 5..erm xde plan sbb xtau nk plan pe…ikut rasa cam nk gi cuti2 Malaysia tapi budget xde (bayar itu ini, register kindy-al-faham2-sajalah-annual-fee)

So skrg kena plan dan nk cari idea nk update ape…erm nk tulis ape ek?
