Kids room stories (Part 1)

Previously I shared the plan, now I shared the overall steps taken to turn the "store room" to kid room yg Afham asik dok cakap "Bilik Afham cantik" (kat mata dia cantik, tapi kat mata korang idakle tahu)

Paint
Talking about paint, we are really not expert. Or I can say, we never paint our house. So julung2 kalinya husband mengerah tenaga mengecat bilik anak.

Husband told me that he want to get Nippon paint, while he let me choose the colour (Apa yg penting kerjasama..haha klu suruh myself pilih brand ape surela xtau)

We went to the shop, and after considering tones and such I choose Sky Blue. (Ok sblm g kedai myself dh decide nk biru tapi tone mana tu lps tgk phamplet la ye). Tu pun dlm kepala takutla warna cat tu jd lain lps dh cat kat dinding..

Like mention in Kid Room Plan ingat nk cat feature wall, tp end up dinding sblh pun cat jugak sbb nk cover hairline crack (alang2 buat ni cat ajelah)

So Afham, Alif...ingat ye ayah awak cat. Jgn conteng2, babab nanti

Aircond

Even though the room considered as small, we decided to install air cond. Bkn pe rumah dua tingkat ni, klu ptg tingkat atas macam berkuap..panas.

Then husband told me that we should not put any ceiling fan. Reason sbb beli rumah second hand..xtau atap kat atas tu perfecto ke tidak. So tower fan adalah option

Again husband decided to choose air cond brand. He want LG (again sbb aircond rumah pakai LG ok maka  nk tu jugak - aircond rumah tu mmg penjual asal xamik). Then when we went to the shop we just knew LG discontinued producing air cond..maka bertabahla memikir dan mengira2 brand mana pulak.

Nampak tak Bigger than you think..itulah pilihan hati

Dah bayar deposit, dh siap install air cond...bila mamat2 pasang air cond tu balik, belek2 air cond tu xsama mcm dlm gmbr..Ok fine, husband kata depa salah pasang..salah diorg kan so biar jelah

Then next day, the SA called me and they informed they installed the wrong model, and he asked me to top up some amount. Aduyai xbest kan..so husband negotiate kata patut xpyh bayar la sbb salah depa (ok masa pasang tu dhle diorg dtg lmbt..depa dtg time maghrib..senang cakap none of us pegi inspect model pe masa depa pasang..yelah depa dtg lmbt, pstu anak2 kena gak rotate jaga)

 Nk bukak pstu psg model betul payah kan, so end up top up some amount..model yg dipasang adalah yg nmpk sekerat je dlm gmbr atas

Curtain

Even though the room already have a curtain, but I decided to have special curtain for the room. So pegila Nagoya & Kamdar..end up beli 2 corak untuk 2 set langsir (tapikan belum hantar gi jahit..so pakaila langsir sedia ada dulu)

Curtain rumah mmg budget tapi curtain bilik anak sanggup tu beli around RM10-12/meter..Ikea punya curtain xmasuk list sbb lps tgk panjang ngan lebar rasa cam kecik

Typo

Tang ni kena salahkan tgk deco over the net..even B2B pun siap beli alphabet kat Typo..

I thought at first nk amik SMA since both of them have same initial. But then when at Typo cannot decide, lps tu hajat hati nk sume kaler putih TAPI huruf A tinggal hitam..

So I thought being creative, ended up pilih I♥ @ 

Kunun sbb @ ala2 untuk initial diorang..hehe bolehkan kak ton?

Testing 1,2,3
Macam x aci plak tak tunjuk sikit...maka layankan ajelah, testing2 pasang langsir (ok langsir bilik ni all the while langsir tuan rumah lama..sbb malas nk pasang langsir yg dh lama terperam..maka sbb langsir tuan rumah lama tu munga2 mmgxla xsesuai..akhirnya pasangla langsir purple)

Inilah wardrobe dipilih..3 laci bawah tuk simpan mainan Afham, Alif yg banyak tu...Erm nak save tang space, kena la wat cmtuh..Wardrobe cum toy storage.
