Test your blog speed

I think for past few months I noticed my blog will took longer time to load.

So as part of blog spring cleaning, I decided to check the load time. You can use any tools (google je blog speed test)

I use http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/. For the first round checking 60.0s (seminit gak la)

So after reading few tips (again boleh je google..I edit a little bit here and there, the simple one adalah kat my sidebar email, fb, google + those images adalah disimpan di photobucket, so in order to make it faster ialah upload those image kat sidebar di picasaweb)

After first round, I test it again the result 3.92s (see some changes brings an impact!)…But the problem with this tools.pindom ialah saya tak reti baca description bawah2, so xtau tang mana nak adjust

So I tried another tool http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/. This website show some suggestions, which certain things can clearly understand.

 After edit a little bit here and that, I tested again and this time around 3.61s (not much different from the second one)

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the blog spring cleaning (certain things I could change especially tang header..dh nk ala2 header ke-ba-boom xboleh la nk reduce speed time kan?)

Morning everyone..monday blues? Hows weekend? Great? Or sudah kering-poket gara2 warehouse sale Pureen ekekek

Since Monday always consider as Monday blues lets have entry-sentap

Blogger pun kena bayar tax?

Hehe..of course you, me and others need to pay tax from the employment income that we have...[of coursela kena isi-submit BE baru tau kena bayar or refund kan?].

But how about income that we generated from blogging? Hmmm yes this is consider as side income and you might think that "ala ni income suka2 je...tak kan kena tax?" or "income nuffnang ni dah cash out beli handbag guess/coach/LV tak kan kena bayar tax jugak?"

I know out there a lot of successful blogger makes money from blogging to the extend few thousand in a month [jeles ni..nak gak buat duit dr keje menulis suka suki nih...tp apekan daya nuffnang gerak tahap biasa2 jek]..some at least geeting few hundreds in a month [tp sebulan 100, setaun dh dapat ribu jugakkan?...jeles2 nih].

OK, back to main topic, income generated from blogging is also taxable...Tak percaya? please read Redmummy experience here where she had been audited by LHDN. [Zaman kerja tax firm dulu big boss mentioned that ada VIP (if not mistaken) kena serang LHDN pagi2 buta masa sibuk dia nak mandi...I couldn't remember the rest of story]

Zaman sudah berubah, no longer income from employment or business is being taxable. Income from blogging also taxable beb [okeh2 I used to be so called as tax agent, so seeing letter from LHDN was part of kerja cari makan. But it has been several years resigned from the job..haha Nuffnang pun tak exist lagi when I resigned from the tax job].

So after saw RM post, I bet it is a red alert for bloggers! Besides it as alert for those having online shop business.

From now on please check if you have side income either from blogging, selling burger at night, selling AVON/ Tupperware, MLM, online shop and so on. LHDN ada mata2-spy tau [Again big boss dulu kata kdg org xperasan cth dia bgtau mata2 ni beli burger smbil tnya soklan kat penjual burger "jual burger semalam dapat banyak tak?" And from the answer of course LHDN can calculate back plus few infos they know and suddenly penjual burger dapatle surat URUSAN SERI PADUKA BAGINDA]

Ok..asik tulis anak, keje, life bla bla so on nanti korg boring

So today tulis topik yg lg kompleks untk budak2 akaun...Haha topiknya ialah template blog...

For those that prefer simple2 template, I think u always can use the template provided by blogspot. However if you prefer custome made you always can look for expert but of course you have to pay (usually their service range from custom made header, custom made template, or custom made the whole layout). Price range depends on the complexity...

Personally I want to have my very own template that design by myself [cita2 tinggi...kunun sbb kawen ngan org IT ala2 mcm ada advantage la kan]. But the fact that encik suami not really expert in this area [lgla pulak nk design2], yes he can help me for certain things but macam ayam ngan itik cakap..For example, after blogwalking to several blogs, I notice there is something "no right click". So when asked encik suami...i dunno want exact term...Hamik ko...maka bermulalah sesi google with all wording xberapa pandai. Then later after online learning, then I can understand that for changing, adding certain thing we need a script @ dlm bahasa mudah coding yg membantu untk certain function.

But if you dun mind to have same template with others, you always can gogle with wording "free blogger template", " cupcake blogger template", "pink and purple blogger template" " two column template", "three column template" and so on...opss make sure it is free template to download.

Before you start to change the layout make sure u have backup ur existing template..krg xpasal2 tukar sana sini..hilang semua sekelip mata [haha tau2 jelah kdg nk godek sume benda ni makan masa berjam2...]

Besides google, if u found someone's blog template is nice and want to have the similar one..pls scroll down because u always can see credit to xyz. So silalah click kerana semestinya di situ ada puluhan / ratusan template yg bisa mencairkan hati..[ekeke ayat xingat, tapi hati gue ngak bisa cair..maka sbb itulah terpaksa mintak Jiji designkan..dan bayar thru maybank2u]

The rest I think if you really want to design by urself, u always can learn thru internet...But the only thing is time consuming, besides u need to have try n error. However, if you really successful, you might understand basic script and of course u will proud of urself [big clap tuk diri sdiri]

Jom pi soping online

Few weeks ago encik suami said that I am not paperless..because I asked to buy newspaper...

I know I am not really kind of paperless...owh banyak baca online kepala boleh naik pening okeh? esp my early pregnancy I couldn't stand to have a long hour with internet..and just recently okeh sedikit but still I prefer reading magazines/books compared to read the long reading in internet...

But when it comes to shopping online, I believe encik suami cannot do it...since he is afraid of security kot....hahaha...see isteri baik hati soping online je so jimat petrol, jimat duit parking, tenaga angkut beg plastik..and still save the world sbb xpayah beg plastik banyak2 okeh...

Okeh recently I made a lot online shopping....dapat duit bonus kah? No-No...Eyh but I just got deposit umah-sewa-bujang dulu yang cukup cover 6 helai baju...see, encik suami xleh komen sbb isteri accountant yg pandai match expenses with budget.

hihi plus ur wife know that she has been be very selekeh for past few months...so sila jangan hantar ur wife as calon2 Tangkap Muat...xmo rizalman punggah2 my clothes pstu gelak2 mcm episod yg kita tgk tuh!

I need to do shopping...to revamp and update the closet....segala baju2 lama sudah sendat....maka harus beli baju mengandung....but to be frank sometimes it hard to find long sleeves pregnancy clothes within my budget and preference....

Until I found 2-in1 closet concept... (and it is long sleeve!) which can be wear for pregnancy and nursing (Pray that I can have breastfeed as long as I can..)..owh I love 2 in 1 concept

What will our baby look alike?

Oho....is it I am too excited? Hahaha..

Actually I'm thinking to post summary of trimester 1, however thinking that it will need my brain plus my hands to type, I will leave it to weekends ~ hopefully lak kan?

I do not meant that I am trying to against ciptaan Allah yg amat berkuasa..it just a little bit wonder...since it is too early to know how the baby will look alike, through scan..

So just google to find out if there is any website offer how the baby will be? Ye bagaimana rupa bakal bayi di lahirkan? ~ leh x tba2 teringat masa Siti ngan DK nk kawen, terbaca kt 1 forum beria2 nk agak2 baby diorg rupa cmner..but it was really lawak, sbb baby tu ada misai DK..aha

And since the technology is there...just trying...~baby, ur mother is just trying to help herself of being happy ok? no matter what u look alike, u are mummy and daddy baby

Opss..sunday went to mak andam place since kami belum fitting - hihi percaya atau tidak sy tidak pernah lihat baju yg saya akan pakai nanti untk bersanding...Ya..not at all...so di masa fitting itulah pertama kali tengok dan terus try...for me it is nice except that baju tu seksi untk yg bertudung..since it is corset + kebaya di luar...so part tangan itu bogel ok? - sy dh bersiap sedia di masa fitting pakai inner siap dan baju mix and match...

Of coursela mostly baju2 mak andam itulah fesyen nya..except Butik Syahirah kot...so option either to have inner inside, choose baju yg ada full lining - but maybe x de for ur theme color, or banyak duit leh request baju baru!



With skin colour inner + baju...it looks a little bit weird and maybe not so nice....planning to buy white inner and do some kind of DIY ..dye the inner!..but while reading the effect the stains maybe terlekat di kulit...aha..not so brilliant.thinking of wearing black inner....but still thinking...and googling.....until found this

It start from zaman gelap, to be specific after break off...maybe I need some space to write/shouting all the feelings..so I started blogging from other platform then 2008 started to move to blogspot..the old blog is still there and I am still transferring the sweet memories from old blog to this blog...for the rest I will left it as it is Kerja yg saja2 dicarik!

3 Why tepungpelita?
I am not Kelantanese, but I just love tepung pelita...I'm trying to have different url from old blog..and decided to choose this name as url

4 Why ~ms tepung~?
Trying to be different from other *suke hati saya la kan?* Besides considering myself fair.. *sesi perasan putih macam tepung..kwang3*

5 Why move to blogspot?
Because it is user friendly..and I can have my experiments here.. *ok no animal was tested during my experiments ;p*

6 Who am I?

Started with most of the entries in Malay, and later I have decided to be seriously write in English *with a little bit of Malay* I have to write in English since I really think that I need to brush up my English *although I believe most of my writing here in English, have so many grammar mistakes..pls accept my apology*

My previous working experience require myself to write and communicate most of the time in English..besides last time I have Chinese team members..so most of the time we speak in English

However my current job *soon will become previous experience also in early Dec 2008*, I don't have much opportunity to speak and write in English aggressively...wording for email is just simple like kindly approve, FYI, FYA, kindly assist...also, most of the time communicate in Malay
After that, I decided to write in English considering that it will be a great platform to add up and brush up English yg dah berkarat itu....

8 Layout
Yes a lot of option out there...I started using template that provided by blogspot, move to star template...and move to this fresh, new look of template *perasan erk* after so many times of troubleshoot and selection process. It is hard for me to pick up and use any template..*not because I'm fussy but most of the template is too stylish to me..to many things *Its not mean that other layout are ugly, but it just not my taste* So, I decided to have some touch of my skill that I have plus with freebies and some template through surfing the net...

9 IT
The good thing of having blog, I have learned few scripts…which to change here and there *of course kawasan-jajahan ialah tepungpelita.blogspot.com*

Besides, I have learned to add few widgets and also Nuffnang *hopefully one fine day I will have my cheques from my writing here...please support me by keep on reading my blog*

Anything except politics, sex....so don't be surprise if in future I will write about recipes, family, how to decorate living hall...it can be anything...however to be specific I might not write every single thing about myself and the loves one...*certain things are for ourselves*
