This will be the last JJCM before Ramadan.
(I don’t want to be blame for food picture while fasting…)
I found this place through
Instagram..perhaps after scrooling all the pics made me suggested this place to
husband.
Other point, perhaps sebab tengok Masterchef tu ada yg pernah buat risotto, ravioli, gnocchi makes me wonder the taste (and FIQS Gastronomy serve
this…)
FIQS Gastronomy food motto – Everything must
be fresh, from scratch and made for you (make
most of foods from scratch, even out pastas and mayonnaise).
FIQS Gastronomy operating officially
4th Feb 2014. The place is halal (Owner and Chef Syafiq Zane, staff pun mostly Malay)
I would consider the place as go-green
@omarmthmn for the interior
masa dtg tu ada group of friends celebrate birthday..psl tu ada belon
On normal days Credit pic here |
So what we had for that day from starter,
main course and dessert. But nothing
fancy, tho I really want to try something that never tried before….main reason
sebab bawak anak2…so pilih yg x pedas, yang x pelik2 kang xmakan pulak.
Air pun minum iced chocolate (RM9), watermelon juice (RM10) and mineral water (RM2). Iced choc tu sedap...rasa klu x order mineral water pun xpe sbb they do give plain cold water (tapi satu cawan je...tp staff dtg refill bila habis)

Roasted potato gnocchi (RM20) – first time tried
it..not bad
Spaghetti tomatoes (RM22) – ni mcm Bolognese…
tau tak half way makan baru la bukak tomato (besar)..rupa ada extra kuah…

Roasted Chicken (RM27) – ni husband order..
so I cannot comment further sbb rasa gitu2 je, tapi setakat rasa 2 suap tu cam sedap je..

nothing super-umphh (or sbb tak makan yg paling sedap)..but food presentation
memang menarik
Baked Alaska (RM15) – Ice cream, citrus sorbet,
hazelnut powder, walnut tuile, butterscotch..
if not mistaken ada toasted bread jugak

Homemade Ravioli
Spinach risotto with carrot puree, crispy
brined chicken & fried onions
Personal review : Nice interior with
go-green concept. They have open kitchen (tapi myself tak pegila tengok).
Friendly staff (most of the staff adalah lelaki..some even good looking – sorry
husband!).
Food presentation really superb (mmg dh ala2 mcm
masterchef..understand that most of the chef there trained at hotels and
restaurants before). Food tasting tak boleh rate sgt sbb makan something safe..but for me yg jenis tak memilih boleh makan
Before coming home, this two little boys
had some OOTD pose (I think husband mmg bab suruh anak pose dia mmg terror..sbb
dia yg bg instruction for posing…well for outfit and camera let me settle it
kot)
Next we went to a green shopping
mall, One City…first time datang, banyak kedai makan (but mcm banyak non-halal).
The main attraction here is Skypark…dua
kanak2 riang ni mmg suka la sbb dapat berlari2 (with observation)…kat tengah2
tu ada glass floor boleh nampak lampu2 kat bawah (erk scary jugakla). Skybar ni
mcm banyak kedai makan non-halal and bar…so jalan2 jelah
Ada air la... |
Sambil lari2, ibu snap jugak gambar |
Sempat masuk Vicario. Some home deco stuff
available here
Vintage car and vespa deco (RM100++)
Both FIQS Gastronomy and One City are quite new, and perhaps one day later we will come back...
macam bes je tempat ni..
