Finally after so many post about the room, here the final part

Even though my kids really love the room, I know later someone will say "biasa je..." or -ve comment. But no matter what I am satisfied with the whole thing plus this is the most completed home project with limited time (psl tu mana ada story sgt ruang tamu psl xcomplete...set ruang tamu dah ok tapi lampu inherited je dr penjual asal rumah - sbbnya nk beli chandelier pstu pendingkan dulu bg laluan siapkan bilik)

So here presenting my humble kid room..with concept Learn - Play - Rest. Nak buat playroom satu bilik, bilik tido satu bilik xmampu...maka combine sume playroom, learning room, and of course rest (baring2, lepak2 tido). Maybe in future buat keje rumah kat meja makan ajelah kot

Marilah jenguk deko2 bilik anak lelaki, kid room deco, toddler room deco, playarea deco, deko bilik kanak2, idea bilik kanak2, bilik anak kecil dan seangkatan dengannya (kes keyword kiasu..segala mak nenek nak bubuh!)

Tapi dlm banyak2 still tak siap deko2 kat pintu..sbbnya xde idea (idea ada tapi mcm pendingkan dulu..siapkan isi dalam, tu yg penting). Dan jugak label tuk toys storage half way progress..(wardrobe share ngan toys ye..nk jimat space kununnya)

I would say the main theme is blue kid room..

Husband purposely buh star kat suis lampu bilik air..sbb katanya klu gelap2 sgt at least nmpk la suis

Part ni Afham mmg suka..mmg suh tutup lampu sume..tapi Alif penakut..

Organizing kid stuff in the kitchen

Sometimes, I don't believe that my kids have tonnes of things. Botol susu pun banyak (ok I have to admit myself bkn rajin basuh botol tiap2 kali lps anak minum susu..most of the time accumulate at least 2 bottles)

So when it comes to kids stuff especially feeding part, I have to admit previously it scattered everywhere. Formula milk in the kitchen, bottles on top of dining table..stok botol kat mana2 ntah

I bought Bygel trolley quite sometimes (couldn't remember the exact purpose). So while myself as temporary SAHM, I managed to organized some of my kids stuff

To avoid further question, here is the Bygel trolley from Ikea website (Do you notice something? most of my organizing stuffs are from Ikea - where else to find tonnes of things under one roof?)

Husband helps me when it comes to assembly (ni kan keje lelaki ^_^).

Top shelf

Top shelf : To keep all thing related to bottle feeding

< Right > The First Year : Spinning drying rack and organizer - I bought it while maternity leave (Alif), I considered it as pricey (klu tgk online almost RM70), BUT it is really woth buying. Sebabnya boleh letak banyak botol, pump parts and such. The best thing klu basuh botol banyak2 tak sempat nak tos...just pusingkan je drying rack ni, sekaligus je tos.

Middle shelf : To keep those gyro bowl, plastic stuffs for kids..so klu tgh masak nak bg pinggan, cawan and such senang je (even boleh mintak tolong husband)

Bottom shelf

Bottom shelf : To keep extra stuff aka multi-purpose aka letak-brg-suka-suki-hati ..bakul biru tu selalunya guna time balik kampung tuk angkut segala yg berkaitan ngan susu (FM,botol, stok ubat2an, etc), tudung saji mini pun tumpang sekaki nk sorok. Termos botol tu biasa guna time travel la

Letakla stok botol, stok FM (xde dalam gambar sbb masa snap gambar xde extra FM), teats and so on (Tau2 je la mak2 ni kan suka simpan mcm2 stok)

Actually if you notice between top and middle shelf, there is small drawer. I will share it later because inside that I just lump few things..haha belum kemas pun isi dalam tu. Kayuh pelan2 kan?

Anyway below the overall look of my Bygel trolley. Just a great station and believe me it helps me a lot! At least husband pun blh tolong wat susu..botol, FM satu station. Kids nak pinggan, cawan pun diorg leh amik sdiri

In future, the trolley might serve as other purpose (mana tau kan tahan sampai 15 tahun lagik), time tu anak dh besar...perhaps baking centre (berangan bottom shelf tu klu muat buh breadmaker - hoho berangan ada breadmaker tuh)

Fun with your little one : It's stamping time...cop, cop, cop..

Earlier I shared the activity that I had with my kids (aqua doodle). So today I am sharing the activity that Afham called as "Ibu, nak cop,cop,cop

I found the Stamping set from Jusco (RM12.90) and later I added another roller because I afraid both of them want to have the same thing at the same time. I got the small roller from The Store (RM2.50)..all the way from Kedah (ok masa belek2 stationery I saw then pk why not beli je kan another one)

Masa 1st time buat, Alif nangis bila tgk tangan dia comot...but the next round rilek je..just wipe tangan dia ngan tisu/ baby wipes

To be safe, I would recommend to have your kids with some art apron. Mine is actually Ikea's baby apron because at first I though to get Ikea art apron, but to my disappoinment dah habis (nak tunggu gi Ikea ntah bila..so just grab alternative product). Nak tau sebab pe kena pakai apron...sbbnya tangan Alif yang comot2 ngan ink tu dia terus sapu kat baju (nak basuh kena plak extra step plak kan)

Kids are happy with the activity. For Afham, he also learn something like he mentioned what he found out from the stamping activity (kita tnya la ape ni? nanti dia point and answer accordingly)

Oh ya, they stamped it on the drawing papers. Hopefully I can give some ideas for mommies out there the activity they can have with their kids.

Organizing kid's wardrobe

For almost 3 years I am using a basket to keep all my boys clothes..Ya just a cheapskate, and maybe during that time no plan for their own room

So everything dumped into the basket, but I will arrange accordingly like baju siang, baju malam, baju jalan etc. (Pls ignore the below arrangement, I just took the picture to show the basket that I use)

So when the plan to have kids room, it include the arrangement of their wardrobe. After searching few shops, we managed to grab the one that I like (ok husband tolong drive, ibu yg decide the final product)

So we have the wardrobe that have some space to hang and the rest some drawers. So the plan is to hang those mix and match clothes (which most likely pants and shirt for outing) and the rest daily clothes to be keep inside a Skubb from Ikea

To become a little bit organized, I DIY wardrobe divider, just a simple one (ok no template but I will share later the DIY step)

For the daily wear, I just have some free printable to label the Skubb box. Afham and Alif both will have 3 main box which siang (baju basahan siang), malam (baju basahan malam), jalan (untuk jalan2 but all inside the box adalah baju sepasang yg lebih molek drpd baju basahan siang...since its already have appropriate pair maka xperlula gantung)

I just use this A4 multi purpose adhesive labels. Bought it from Jusco 10 pieces for RM 3.90. I just print it using the printer at home (no specific setting, just like A4 plain paper printing)

For Alif clothes, I use the same method only that his clothes keep inside the drawer (later will show the whole picture of the wardrobe)

Oh my laundry area

When moved in to this house right after married, I am not sure to place all those laundry stuff..

So washing machine in the kitchen, hanger in another place, detergent at another corner...Phew

But as time passed, I need a centre that can called as laundry area. We have some space at the backyard but the main problem is extra $$$ to transform it to something.

So after considering all points, I left with small area between living room cum dining area to the kitchen. Of course it is not strategic because any guest can straight away see this area even right after they come to the house (Nasibla labu...nk rumah super cantik kena super duper banyak duet...)

Since the space is limited I need one magic thing that can have everything...from hanger to detergent and also for the unwashed clothes

After searching and comparing I just in love with Antonius series (ok dua round pegi ikea baru complete Antonius but back to earlier 2012..since nowadays rasa Antonius ni mcm dh nak digantikan ngan Algot series - not sure tp recently pi Antonius cam xberapa bnyk brg)

As time passing by, the area become messy..kadang letak je semua barang area situ..Phew, originally there was safety gate, but since safety gate pun patah (ganas kan smpi patah), husband said let it be clear (Plus Afham Alif dh besar kan...cuma mmg kdg2 stress gak masak anak2 dtg menyibuk). Langsir pun sebelah je ada pengikat..sebelah lagi dh serabai. Tak caye tgk bawah..malu nk zoom satu2 (even ada waktu lg super messy)

I bought Eivor curtain from Ikea to replace the old curtain to give a chic look (haha pepandai je kata chic...sbnrnya dh boring ngan langsir lama..dh bertaun woo)

Add some colour with leftover pink ribbon and bought nice brooch for simple decoration

This collage already there quite sometime...ha tapikan mula2 tak cukup 2 keping gambar...pastu dh setel down sume print la extra love pictures (I have like 20 love pics in folder..so drpd simpan dlm folder printkan la ye). Then the frame is from Ikea (bought for quite sometimes for another project..but end up I still love this love collage..)
