Bila sesuai beli barang baby?

Dah ada anak dua baru nak tulis topic ni. It’s not that I don’t want to share earlier but I think this time is more appropriate as a guideline for other first time mom.

“Bila nak start beli barang baby ni?”

“Boleh ke beli barang baby awal2?”

“Boleh ke beli barang baby tapi tak tau jantina?”

And I believe tonnes of questions from the very first time mum.

There is no exact answer and even there is no right or wrong…Konsep sama macam “bila nak start revision spm”, “bila start nak prepare untuk kahwin”…ada org prepare awal dan ada jugak very last minute. I hope you can get my point.

Personally, I think the best time to start prepare during trimester two. Since nausea, morning sickness etc will end *some might be not*. Most of the moms will start feeling good and energetic

Perhaps some points on below tips will help for first time mum.

1. Get the checklist – you can easily get the checklist thru internet
2. Make your own checklist – This is the hardest things because you will think that every single thing is important. Later you will discover some of the items might not even use until you will sell it / pass to relatives and friends
3. Get the basic things first – Again first time mum will treat almost every single things in the list as important. Tapikan skrg kan zaman google, lepas baca xsure rupa dan kegunaan apa2 barang boleh je search thru. Then barula decide agak2 mana perlu beli. Yang penting baju baby, mitten, booties, bedung, tilam, pampers, grooming – baby wash, minyak telon, nail clipper, etc. Untuk ibu pula set berpantang, maternity pad, pad, panty liner, stoking, breastfeeding gadgets. Certain things like stroller, katil baby ke boleh je hold on dulu…esp if you bf your baby (lagi senang co-sleeping). Stroller pun xbeli awal2 pun xpe…manala tahu kot2 lagi suka babywearing
4. Murah vs mahal, sikit atau banyak – Ini subjektif dan bergantung kepada poket masing2 dan juga kesesuaian ngan baby (cth pampers..ada baby pakai murah / mahal ok je, ada pulak boleh pakai certain brand..same goes to baby bottle). Kalau tak sure beli sikit dulu, then lepas tu kalau rasa memang sesuai bolehla teruskan guna brand yg sama. Sikit atau banyak pun bergantunglah ada yg suka beli barang step by step (supaya x rasa duit habis keluar dgn banyaknya…ada yg suka kuar duit sekali banyak)
5.  Kat mana best beli barang baby? – Ini pun subjektif, sbbnya ada org suka gi tempat A tapi ada juga org xsuka tempat A tapi suke tempat B. Kalau pampers dan susu (the best is breastmilk, tapi kalau dh terpaksa FM as alternative) sila jganla kata Tesco tu murah. Pampers dan susu tu bolehla try carik kat kedai2 biasa macam Hero, 99 Speedmart, Mydin. Kalau tanya saya so far beli pampers anak huggies biru tu harga yg memang ok kat 99 Speedmart sbb paling murah boleh dapat RM29.90 paling mahal dalam rm32.90…kat Tesco RM4x, dan hanya akan murah time promo.

7. Baby expo tu ok ke nak beli barang? – Beza baby expo dengan baby warehouse sale ialah baby expo banyak peniaga2, while baby warehouse sale pula lebih kepada satu atau untuk few brands je. So kdh2 pureen mmg ada kat baby expo, tapi harga mungkin x semurah semasa warehouse sale dia. Ok je nak beli barang time baby expo sbb banyak penjual dan guna selalunya boleh dapat best price (TAPI bertabahla dgn crowd). Nowadays it is easier with online shopping. Within few days barang dah dapat..even kalau teringin nk beli overseas brand pun bolehla carik personal shopper, Cuma kena tanggu la ye.
