Home organizing and improvement : Dapur oh dapur

When it comes to organizing and such, I believe I still learning and still need to reorganize again and again...and sometimes there is limitation like small kitchen, not enough space, not creative to arrange and such..

So today I am sharing what inside the cabinet specifically bahagian bawah dapur masak2

Below the before - tong gas dan rice dispenser (ok agak sbb arwah emak simpan beras camni maka sy pun ikut)

But there is some problem, since I dont cook every single day I am not able to estimate...yelah xblh nak agak bila beras dh habis..end up kena bukak tong beras tu. Then I found that kuali lg sesuai simpan bawah ni sbb space, but the problem is I hate to hack the wall...nk pasang mcm railing pstu guna s hook gantung kuali..ayayayay

Found this from Daiso, and think maybe I can put my kuali and tudung kuali..


So transformation as below. I change the red rice dispenser to clear transparency rice dispencer...so it will be easier for me to check rice level. Then the thing I bought from Daiso just perfect to put kuali and such..xde tumbang2...

So for time being, I am ok with the things...but for this few weeks think to transform again with better look..

Cameron Highland - in memory part 1

I am among those that update blog not up to date..blame on my mojo.

I considered we had a great vacation somewhere a year ago! Its Cameron Highland (CH). I bought the voucher from Groupon around Dec 2011 (at first before bought it, I just simply email Equatorial to check on validity for few preferred date. Them replied promptly and here we go I managed to get the Groupon voucher! )

We went around end of Feb 2012. It just perfect time, the whether just perfect, the strawberry is just nice to be pick up (main attraction kat sini kan strawberry..klu dtg xdpt tgk cam rugi tu)

The only not so good I planned the vacation Sunday to Tuesday.

Tips to Cameron Highland : Bear in mind some of the shop/visiting places closed on Monday (except school holiday-if not mistaken). The reason because during weekend they need to open (yeah during normal weekend many people come visit CH)

I considered the vacation as the most enjoyable and also the most planned vacation. Even had a folder just for CH inside my hard disk. (Perhaps maybe have two kids, need to consider those certain important point like hospital/ clinic, ATM, petrol station and yada yada...)

Review : Photobook

I knew Photobook quite some times and even had a plan like "My first year book" for Afham. But it tooks ages for me to have it one.

Until somewhere around early Feb 2012 (yeah I knew it should be backdated post). Since I subsribed to Photobook newsletter, I saw this promotion. 75% off for 11" x 8.5" Imagewrap Medium Landscape (40 pages). Original price RM 256, but pay only for RM64.

So I bought 3 voucher. At the first place have some problem with credit card payment. Maybe my mistakes also because decided few hours before the deal ended (or maybe internet pun problem..whatsoever).Managed to contact customer service, and they are willing to extend the promotion (but the expiry date for the voucher remain).

If not mistaken the voucher expired around early August..but I started doing it phase by phase. I have to give credit and BIG thanks to Asma Salleh , as she willing to answer all those silly question from me about photobook (ok I think I am not good on this plus I have no time to study here and there..shortcut email tnya mcm2). Oh ya she provides photobook services (how I wish I have extra budget...blh dia tolong buat...maybe another time klu ada rezeki)

The 3 voucher used for my first year book (afham + alif) and celebrating 3 years of love (kunun mcm dr mula2 kawen smpila anniversary ke 3). Not to mentioned although it was done phase by phase, still last minute submission (nasib internet rumah ok..xbenjol..klu tak meraung beb)

So presenting my-not-so-very-creative photobook. For Alif and Afham, I use the same so called template...(malas nk godek2..so lebih kurang je rupanya..cumanya certain months Afham ada banyak gambar, Alif plak cinonet je, kena adjust tang tu le)

Overall I am quite satisfied with the end product. Plus they have super fast services...macam baru je hantar dah dapat end product. Even though most of the pictures taken using normal camera (no DSLR), the quality of the picture still good for me. (Klu pakai DSLR mmg cantik..lg cantik klu pandai bega2)

Oh my brooch !

Being a mum, I think I'm always in a rush..Mandi pun berapa minit, sikat rambut pun most of the time skip...and then pakai tudung pun kena express..Phew

When it comes to find a brooch, I think sometimes I have a hard time to find..kadang salah sdiri letak merata

Previously I kept all my brooches and small accessories in small boxes. Alah kadang kan beli brooch ada dapat free box...recycle jelah. Then when in rush sometimes I need to check so many small boxes (pstu dah jadik mak2 ni kadang sakit lupa...dulu2 ingatla box mana ada brooch apa, lama2 xingat dah)

I bought few boxes, and the good thing it comes together with 3 partition - so we can adjust accordingly.

After a spiring cleaning my brooches, presenting the new look...Tadaaa 

Brooches, bangles, butang baju husband pun ada

It is much easier to find brooch, because of the clear box..So I don't need to spend more time looking and looking for tiny miny brooch.

Oh ya please keep somewhere where your little one, couldn't find it...Otherwise you will become monster once you see your little one playing with your things!

Beli baju anak di tesco

Recent purchase from Tesco Puchong

Aha last week cerita beli baju kat warehouse, this week ke pasar raya plak...

When it comes to toddler clothes , at first I have no idea where I should get it..Nak pakai baju baby dh tak muat, nak beli baju kartoon most likely untuk budak besar…and the limitation, we hardly go to pasar malam…usually our shopping done at Tesco Puchong and also Jusco. (Giant pun amatlah jarang pergi maybe sebab Giant xde kad mcm Tesco dan Jusco)

At first bought few shirts and pants from Jusco (JKids). Then later I discover that Tesco sells toddler clothes within my budget (alah baju nk pakai hari2 siang malam…kena budget jugak…)

But here the tricky part…if want something within my budget, I must learn to mix and match. So I found Fiffy pants (short and long) sell at RM 10 for 2. Sehelai seluar pendek ke panjang dh jd RM5. (yang xbest dia dh siap 2 pair kaler bkn kita nk kdg2)

For shirts, brand South Field price at RM 4.90 (white shirt with some cartoon –sleeveless/short sleeves). So overall for a pair dapatla dlm RM9.90.

Nak jadik lagi bijak? Buy clothes during festive season, because all the while I notice Tesco will send RM20 voucher for RM200 and above purchase (kena ada tesco cardla). So beli la baju bajan time raya cina (time raya melayu nk spend mcm2 kuihla, langsirla, baju raya la…larik budget). But plan accordingly la beli2 baju dan judak barang dapur ka..bg smpi cukup RM200. Another thing Tesco also have baby fair..those baju RM 8 jatuh jadi RM6, yg RM 4.90 jadi RM4 (provided beli yg 4.90 ni 2 helai)

After a year Afham wearing it, I notice something..baju memangla berbulu (masuk keluar mesin pakai hari dh setahun plak tu) baju beli kat tesco still elok dr segi rupa paras, ada baju beli kat jusco dh senget2 (ok klu lipat mmg dh xcun pun) , ada satu pyjama plak getah seluar dh cair (ok bkn banned Tesco, kdg beli brg ni pun nasib gak kan...Jusco tetap di hati...I love Jusco, I love Tesco..haha)

Eh lupa part sizing pun try and error gak..for long pants size 2-3 year, short pants size L, baju 2T (afham pakai dr umur 2 taun smpi la ni)

Since he’s 3 this year…kena beli baju bajan baru lagi (lgpun baju 2 taun dh fit2 nicely). Since dan ada experience maka this round all his daily clothes from Tesco Puchong

I got short pants (all Fiffy RM 10 for 2), long pants (Fiffy RM 10 for 2, and since not enough top up with Assign Junior long pants each RM8). Shirt all from Assign Junior (white for RM 4.90 – sleeveless/ short sleeves, colour RM8 - sleeveless/ short sleeves). For sizing short pants Fiffy XL, long pants (Fiffy 3-4 years), long pants (Assign 3T). Shirts all 3T. (Brand south field xnampak pulak…tapi baju Assign ni memang gantung sama ngan tempat South Field).

So mix match..sepasang dlm range RM9.90 ke RM16. Oklah kan? Kali ni ada banyak warna warni sikit..kunun blhla ajar sambil2 pakaikan baju kata “Afham pakai baju merah/kuning/hijau…”

Oh ya, somethimes I found Tesco sell a pair of toddler clothes at RM10, tapi bila belek2 ada yg cam kainnya jarang sikit..Then end up mix and match...kain elok, harga affordable

Beli gak extra long pants, dan baju sepasang lengan panjang-leh pakai time balik Kedah (selalu balik sana mlm2 kan)

Klu kira banyak kot baju bajan Afham (hmm bkn pe kdg2 time hujan, time sibuk smpi smpi basuh baju pun kena sekali smpi 2 round, dan jugak kdg2 sehari bukan 2 pasang tapi 3 pasang pakainya)

Mesti ada yg tnya, baju alif mana..haha dh beli masa warehouse sale tu..ada top up sikit2 gak dr tesco (even org kata anak rapat2 ni blh je pass baju abg, tapi rasa mcm xaci, baju dh berbulu pass pd alif...so baju harian xde inherit dr afham...untk baju jalan2 ada..sbb baju jalan2 ni mostly elok lagi

Review : Pureen and OK Baby and Mydear warehouse sale (2010-2012 )

Ok...now 2013 but the entry supposed to be post 2010 (ok nevermind..lumpsum everything)

2010 Pureen warehouse sale

Total spending : RM127 (couldn't itemised due to couldn't remember exact price)

1 romper, 3 set (long sleeve+long pants), 1 set (short sleeve+short pant), 1 shirt, mix (2 long shirt, 2 long pants)

Wipe (2 jar). Wipe (2 packets), 2 wide bottle, 1 sippy cup,1 towel, 2 teether, 3 bottle brush

Review : We went on Saturday. I think arrive the warehouse sale around 2pm++, but damn jammed...just grabbed whatever left. And I think this is the first and the last time I went for Pureen warehouse sale..

2011 OK baby
Total spending : RM124 (couldn't itemised due to couldn't remember exact price)

Towel, baby napkin, mitten + booties (about 4 pairs), 6 bottle 8oz (dont think its BPA because if not mistaken sold it at very cheap price..bolehla beli wat minum air masak), sippy cup

mix2 (manage to get 6 pair), 1 pair short sleeve + long pants (ni macam ada stain sikit), 5 pairs (new and they hang it nicely)

Those mix range from RM2-5 per piece..RM2 biasa yg baju lubang2 tu..then those nicely hang (dah elok2 je pair xpayah susah2 cari mix and match range dlmRM5- 20 (if not mistaken yang RM 20 tu beli 1 percuma 1..so jatuhla sepasang RM10)

Review : Went it during confinement (bkn awal2 tp time tu alif dh 1 month cmtu), Not congested, maybe because they do not advertised internet. I knew the warehouse sale since our house is not far from the OK Baby (so they put bunting around Puchong). Husband help me to take care Alif (bf him before start the hunting, and he sleep inside the stroller while I managed to settle everything).

2012 OK baby
Total spending : RM126

12 bottle 8 oz (BPA free), 7 pairs (short sleeve + short pants), 3 pairs (short sleeve + long pant)..all the clothes bought was nicely hang…so just grab whatever that I like. Free sampul duit raya (masa tu bln posa)

This time I found it was hard to get those yang lambak2 (yg ni actually cheaper usually 1 piece at RM2-5), but still consider within my budget as bought 12 BPA free bottle and 10 pairs clothes

Review : If not mistaken they do promote in their facebook, but I don't think it was not crowded (perhaps Ramadan). Those yang lambak2 tu mcm bnyk baju baby girl la pulak...so end up beli yang dh siap2 gantung je. Baju bkn takat tuk baby, budak2 pun ada..sume baju2 ni beli tuk Alif, botol tuk Afham

2010 Mydear warehouse sale

Normal price : if not mistaken RM240, got it at RM 170.

Review : Can be very crowded if came evening. No pictures for few items bought at Mydear warehouse sale like tolocar and safety gate...

Usually outside the Mydear warehouse sale there is booth (not Mydear), couldn't remember exact price..Haha until now the Hello Kitty still new (erm tggu dpt baby girl)

Overall, I considered myself as lucky because stayed at Puchong (OK Baby, Mydear is within the range..xde sesat2...and of course can come as early as we can) :) ups plus duit minyak, tol mmg save..

Another resignation

Today is my last day with xyz sdn bhd (not real co name). Yeah it is short time, I only survive for about 4 months.

It is hard decision..I am not sure whether I wrong at the wrong time or whatsoever reasons.I had one day rest from previous co and once with this company I think I work like crazy!!!

I accept the offer because of the pay and the job consider something similar what I have done earlier - month end closing, accrual, prepaymant, balance sheet recon, audit...and yada yada

But once I join, the list seems more than that. It includes asset (something that I never do before, plus there is no proper training, just learn from someone that learned from the resigned person). Plus the workload also including helping controlling team (mak ai..keje sdiri terkial2 kena plak tolong org lain)

Another thing, maybe because I joined almost towards year end, it was busy with audit...need to update asset master list (wohoo its a super duper long list), and of course answer auditor queries (plus helping drafting the report)

Phew..it drives me to long working hours and almost every day I came back 8pm and above. There was many emotions part like whenever I came back (esp late), once masuk kereta Alif while smile and laugh happily because he just missed breastaurant!

Due to workload, I am not able to cope with his milk demand..my milk supply also drop (from pump twice a day, I only pump once a day...)

Not to mention, I have never ending sickness..uhuk uhuk, ah coo, ah coom...its like on off flu, cough, sneezing and so on. Not to mention after working 2 months, I already took 2 and a half MC. Then some others day I had to force myself to finish my work, while not feeling well.

This even makes me think that I am pregnant. Twice pee on the stick, but its negative. Yes I am not pregnant, but my body keep on sicks!

After much consideration on 1 Feb, I gave resignation letter to my boss. No such drama, he said " I have to accept it" (maybe he also noticed that I keep on sicks!)

It should be 28 Feb as my last day, but due to some monthly reporting I agree to extend until 8 March...

So for time being, I will turn as SAHM..not full time SAHM, because will send Afham & Alif to nursery so that I can continue with kemas2 rumah and so on.

I have long list things to do here and there (yes I am not supermom, because all the while it is hard for me to wake up in the middle of night doing housework, cleaning, organizing and such..tried few times before but the most only 1 hour before Alif started to cry - dia cm blh tau ibu xde kat sebelah..so end up most of time I will sleep whenever he sleep)

I will look for a new job once ready, for time being no online shopping and concentrate on house improvement project!
